Some of the best things to do in Miami involve letting the children get a close-up view of other people wearing costumes. Boys and girls will be excited to join in with their favorite characters like Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Wendy and the lost boys for an excellent adventure along The New River.
The event takes place from 11:00 am to 12: 30 pm at Stranahan House at 335 Southeast 6th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale.
If you’re looking for an upscale neighborhood to celebrate those fun witches and ghouls, the Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival might be the best choice for a weekend of family fun.
This fun filled family weekend includes pumpkins and hayrides as well as scarecrows and hay mazes so that everyone in the family can join in this event that runs from October 21-23. For the kids, there is a Pumpkin Court Feast that you won’t want to miss. If Mom and Dad get a little time away, they’ve also put in a Pumpkin Beer Garden especially for them.
